Alternator went bye-bye

So last night, I'm taking my finace home, I'm driving down the highway, and my battery light comes on. I'm like "oh f'n great". So about 5 miles down the road, the dash lights shut off and my needles start jumping like crazy. just before I get off her exit, my headlights shut off. just as I get off the exit and head up the hill, the whole car shuts down.

So I managed to get it off the side of the road and had it towed to my Honda dealer.

I'm so mad, I'm without my car for the weekend, and I got a stupid Nissan Sentra as a rental. If has more pick up off the start then my Civic. But the vic could beat it up hills for sure!

Oh well, 2 years 67,000 miles and this is my first problem with it. I still love my Civic.
