headlight bulb

Sorry, havn't worked much with Civi's, or Honda's period so here is probably the dumbest qquestion you will answer all day...unless of course you do tech support Anyhow, I got some nice ultra-white bulbs for my 2002 civic LX Sedan and I wan't to put them in, only it's about fifty times stranger than the domestic cars im used to. It would almost seem that I'd have to remove my whole damn bumper to get the headlight caseing out, because of the shape of the parts around it. I removed the plastic push pin things from the rubber piece above the grill..but obviously didn't fix it. I'm sure it has been posted before, but am probably too tired to find it. Any help or a point in the right direction would be very much appriciated. thanks in advance!

You can change the bulbs without taking off everything. Just look behind the headlight for the rubber boot. Pull that off, and then there's a metal clip holding the bulb in place. You push in and pivot out of the way. Oh yea unplug the harness first. It's easy except for the drivers side the power steering reservoir has to be pulled up and out to make room.

If your talking about the power steering resovior, just lift it out of the slot and set it aside.
