Like 2days ago I was driving at night and I noticed that my lights were off and only my high beams worked. Today I went to Autozone and bought another pair of light bulbs and I just finished putting them on my car, and again my low beams dont wanna go on, just the high beams work. Anyone know what could be wrong? I checked the fuses, and the wires are not melted and everything else looks ok. I need my lighs so I can drive at night. I hope someone can help me out. Thanks as always.

Actually, I had the same problem. Honda sent me a recall in the mail for my car saying that the terminal for the headlight wire harness can overheat and may cause the low beams to fail without warning. Changing the bulbs won't help. You should call honda about the recall regarding this..they should fix it for free. The recall I got was for 01-02 civics and 00-01 insights.

on 01-03 civics, the low beam turns off when the high beam is on. Is this what you are asking?

actaully...there was a recall on this like a couple of months ago....just bring it to honda and schedule an appointment....they just gotta get ya a new harness

and headlight switch =) they replace a piece of the wire, and give you a new headlgith switch. DO what he said above, honda will cover all of it.

my had the same problem. just take off ur aftermarket highlight, signal, etc.... before going to the dealer.

i have aftermarket blackhousing..l that i had to rig up to hold the bulb in.. now, i dont have any stock lights.. how am i supposed to pull this off? lol
