rear defogger
rear defogger
recently a drunk driver rear ended my civic 01...had it repaired but the defogger not workin' and i live in ny city where it snows....anybody knows where the connection is? i returned it to the shop to fix it...but i am curious...ty for the response...
the shop claims that they fixed the rear defogger...unfortunately last night it was drizzlin and cold, turned on the defogger...did'nt work...guess i have to trace it myself..while waitin' for a response from any of you guys...i will be searchin the internet for answers...where to locate the connection...but if you got the answer please post it here and i will greatly appreciate your help.

i believe the connection is behind the A pillar of the rear windows (dont know what its really called). i'm pretty sure i saw it there when i was doing audio stuff. you basically have to take off the plastic panel on the upper sides of the rear window.
ty for the info...i'll let you know if i was able to find it...and i actually found a website that hosts honda enthusiast and they provide manual for free using adobe reader!!! you are so right !..that's what i found in the manual...i'll check the car later...cuz it is 4 am here in ny city...

if the shop scratched one of the deffroster "lines" on the window it will not work and the only way to fix it is to replace the back glass! (ouch $$$) i would take it back to them and tell them that the deffroster is not working and you want them to fix it. the fedral law states that when a vehical is in an accident it must be returned to pre-accident condition. remember man, the squeaky wheel gets oiled.
