1 small problem, 1 possible larger one:
1st problem: How do you get these off? Twist? Pull? Gentley? Is it screwed on to something ? Or just yank it off?
Second: I bought the car used from a reputable dealership, and have since had no problems. Today I am Dynmating the floor of my trunk, trunk lid, and such, and I come accross the following:
pic 1 = notice the broken glass.
pic 2 = whats with the stuff covering the joints that looks like some one welded some pieces and put that over it?
pic 3 = Why does the right side of my trunk have the black plastic there and the lefte side doesn't?
I guess I will say again, the car has been fine, and I have no problem cleaning it, but, I was hoping someone could tell me if its possible this car was rear ended, resulting in a salvage title (I didn't check because I wouldn't think this dealer would sell me such a car). Are those pics evidence of a minor or serious accident... Why didnt the just vaccum that sht up

The uneven mat is normal. Mine actually was the opposite of yours. The glass I don't know. There's nothing that could've done that short of opening the trunk carpet and putting glass in there. Strange, but prolly nothing to worry about.

Yup the black uneven padding is normal. The glass, I have no clue... The patching over the welding or whatever that stuff is, seems ok.
Tell me how hot the padding goes...

Since I know my car was in an accident, and the rear was basically replaced. I'm leaning towards that glass in your trunk being your rear windshield. I know my trunk looked like that when I got it - the glass gets everywhere even under carpeting .. it took me a good while to take things apart and clean it out 100%.
I'd check through carfax/insurance agent if the VIN was ever reported in an accident or not. Or perhaps ask your dealership - though you might want to check the title to see if it was accidented or not.
