Dent in my civic
Dent in my civic
I have an 03 civic. I have a small dent the size of like a nickel. What should i do? get it fixed at the Honda Dealer bodyshop or at an independent dent removal place.

blah, i tried that on my car. a tree limb put a small dent in my car, likea nickel size like you said, and it barely made any difference when they took it out. but my car is black so its more noticeable. if you have a light color like silver or white you might luck out better than i did.

If you had bad luck with paintless dent removal, the guy didn't know what he was doing.
I had several door dents taken out. The guy made a housecall, took about 20 minutes, and I SWEAR I can't find where the dents were. If someone is good, you can't tell unless the paint was damaged.
Oh, and it was $129 for 3 dents and housecall. It was soooo worth it.

Well I went to a paintless dent place and they got the dent out but said they couldnt paint it without painting the whole fender. So I have to get some touch up paint. They did a pretty good job, you can still see it but its less noticible than before.
They could not work it out to perfection? Unless it was way deep, or on a body line, they must not be a very good place, IMO. They mentioned painting the fender? It was a Paintless Dent removal place, right?
On my non-7thgencivic, some nice person pushed my fender in a few inches, right above the bumper. I went to numerous body shops, with estimates from $250 to $1000+ for just the fender. I drove by a Paintless Dent Removal place, and stopped in for laughs. The owner said that he could work out the dent, but since it was on a body line, that he could not guarantee it being perfect in the end. It might have been a bit larger than paintless dent removal usually takes on also. So the assistant works in it for a while, and gets it fairly straight. Still kinda wavy, but okay. The owner is out of the shop for a bit, so he works on some door dings on the front fenders. All of them are 100% gone by the time he is done. He worked on a dent on my roof also, but I told him it was no big deal, so he just made it a bit less noticable. The owner returns, removes the corner turn signal, works on it for a while, and ends up with a fender slightly wavy, but good enough to fool a dealer. So for a few hours of their work, I paid $50 total.

dent wizard is awesome, or u can try it urself with the diy DING KING removal kit, I have it and it works only 19.95 or something
I work for a dent removal company called the Dent Clinic. If you have small dents from doors, rocks, or even hail we are able to fix em. Don't worry if it's on a body line or whatever it'll be able to be fixed. Some dents won't turn out as good as others but for the most part I'll look better. Small dents like the size of a quarter should come out 90 to 100%. And for you people that don't beleve just check it out you may be surprized. As for the dent king products those things only work on very small amout of dents, don't waste your money. Let someone that knows what there doing handle it. Theres a form to it and it taken me a year and a little bit to learn it.
