Lightbulb Power door locks

Hey everyone, I need your help. I have power locks on my 01 LX, but the driver side lock won't go up and down on its own anymore. I need to manually push it up and down and its annoying as hell. Honda told me it could be the actuator and to expect $250 to $275 to fix it. I find that to be robbery. They will tell me exactly whats wrong for free, and I want to try to find my own parts and try to fix it on my own. Anyone else had this problem? HELP!!!!!

do it yourself, here is the DIY I did when I fixed mine. All you need to get is the door locking assembly from majestic honda for about 40-50 shipped,l cant remember. Easy as ****.

The driver side is the only one that doesn't work. It didn't just stop either, it slowly stopped. Some days would get stuck half way, then it would jerk a little, then nothing. and thats where I am now. Thanks for all the replys everyone, I wasn't expecting all this.
