Rep Power: 0 guages all wrong.
They other day my maint req light came on and at the same time my guages all stopped working.the speedo sits at 20 and stays. My tach is all good but my oil sits a little over midway. It usually doesn't go pass the mid way point.my fuel sits a little higher than it should.I haven't touched the but I don't know why they just messed up. Anybody know how to fix it.I got an03 ex coupe.any help I would really appreciate.

Rep Power: 278 do you have any modified intake? Check the ground connections back there under the hood. The common ground for the cluster runs to the ground near the intake. WHY?? Who knows. But this has apparently happened before.
It seems the civic has several "Common" ground points. If any get loose, weird things start to happen.

Did you mod your cluster? Maybe the needles are sticking.
Try this:
1. Push and hold the trip/reset button.
2. Turn the lighting switch on.
3. Turn the ignition switch on.
4. Within 5 seconds, turn the lighting switch OFF, then ON and OFF again.
5. Within 5 seconds, release the trip/reset button, then push and release the button 4 times repeatedly.
This starts the Gauge cluster self diagnostics.
The beeper will sound, the lights will flash, the LCD will flash, and most importantly, the needles will sweep all the way back and forth. If they/one does NOT sweep properly, replace the cluster.
To exit diagnostics, turn off the ignition.
Hope this helps. If you don't get it the first time, try again. Timing is important here.
