Angry auto tranny problem

well last night i was kinda drivinng hard and i was nuetral droping one or to times and after that i drove to my friends house and i tryed to put it park and it would not go in to park so i was like ok there is something rong i tryed to pull the key out when it was park and it did not come out so it was like it was not in park but the shifter was all the way up and i could not take the key out so i tryed and i tryed and i got the key out.

i put the key in and i try to start it in park but it would not start so i put it in nuetral and it started so i dont no whats rong with it.

help

The gears got messed up. It won't let you remove the keys if the car isn't in park (or if the ecu doesn't think it's in park). I hope you have warranty, because it could get expensive. If you like driving hard, get a tranny cooler. Regardless, you shouldn't be doing neutral drops.

neutral drop= no good

our civics arent made with the best trannies..keep that in mind when "neutral dropping" yea hopefully u have warranty and they can fix that sucka. if not, lesson learned.

Not very smart, Most likely if you take it in for service, they will take apart the tranny. They can tell if you did neutral drops, and I doubt they will cover that under the warranty.

werd? how can they tell u did neutral drops? if u do it like 2 times does it hurt it? my friend did it 2wice but he stopped? can they still tell he did it?

well a friend of mine did it in his grand mothers car and when they opened it all the gears where sheard and stuff. a good mechanic can tell. he got his *** kicked for that.

well i went to honda today and droped off my car and the guy called me back and said the subframe was bad and need to get a new one so i said ok he was like it will be 273+labor i was like dam.

What the hell is a subframe?

you are better off buying a use tranny, like a local junkyard then take it to good shop. Honda is going to kill you for their service and prices.

You got to do it more then 2x of N's drop to kill you tranny that easy.
