Question Help, My civic will not turn on!

First of all im really glad I found this forum the topics on here have been great to read. I have a 2001 Honda Civic EX with a turbo. Well finally the automatic tranny has died well my brother help me put in a new one. He has work on many cars and trucks (Ford), so he said hill help me on mine it shouldn't be too hard. To make the story short will got everything done and when i turned the key the car worked but after about a min. it stopped. I tightened up the battery cables rechecked everything and tried it again... it worked for about another min. And now the engine cranks but it wont turn on. I have checked the fuel pressure its good all sensors are connected and the fuses under the hood. I have determined that the spark plugs aren't getting any spark... Do you guys know what could be causing this? Or im I forced to take it to the dealer?

Taking a guess here, have you check all the fuses under the dash, if so did they test good? What type of fuel system are you using? Also the coil packs that sit on top of the engine(spark plugs), re check the connections there and follow it down to where it meets the main harness. (check for any other loose connections). Let me know what you find out.

Well my car is back in action. I really dont know what was the problem because i changed a number of things. I added more grounding points (don't know if it actually worked, i got that tip of another forum), double checked all sensors and fuses, recharged my battery to make sure it was not weak. But I dont know what it actually was but it is good now!
