adjusting front camber?

how do you adjust the STOCK front cambers on our struts. i just installed a coilover system and didnt know which bolt was the front camber bolt til about 5 min ago . i torqued everything as tight as it would go by hand (without a torque wrench) and now i have crazy positive camber. i'm gonna get an alignment when i get my camber kit, but thats a week away. anyone know how to do it? and the process? i checked the forums but only tells you how to do the SPC camber kit, i need directions for the stock ones. thanks for any info.

midnightauto is an unknown quantity at this point
The SPC kit is for any cars lowered around 1.5"-3". The front camber kit from SPC and the Honda front kit look alomost the same. The rear kit from SPC gives you new adjustable rear upper control arms.
Both kits are extremly easy to change. For a basic introduction, go to
www.spcperformance.com , find your application and check out the descriptions.
The front camber is not adjustable on our cars, straight from the factory. You must buy a kit after the fact. The Honda kit is good for drops to around 1"-2", and I believe this is stretching it. Now unfortunatly, the rear camber is not adjustable from the factory. You must buy an aftermarket kit to perform this adjustment.
As I mentioned earlier, the kits are simple to install, but you will need a 4-wheel alignment afterwards to put it all to spec.
Hope this helps...

To adjust the front camber to get some negative camber, loosen the top mount bolt and push on the top of the tire, then tighten the bolt while the tire is there. The reason you have positive camber is because you had the car in the air when you tightened all the bolts. Get a camber kit and get it aligned.

518 is on a distinguished road
If you need more negative on the front, get a smaller in diameter bolt or get the SPC kit. The most negative set-up you can have on the front is -0.8 with the stock bolt. This is for the 2004, I dont know if all others are the same. In my case, the shop installed a smaller bolt and I was able to achieve -1.5 front and -1.0 rear on SPC Kit.

Loosen BOTH bolts, push up and in on the brake rotor, tighten the bottom one first, then the top one. Get yourself a torque wrench and crank them to 110 ft-lbs.
If you're aiming at a performance set up, get camber plates, the camber bolts don't hold their settings well under a hard pounding.

i tried to adjust the stock camber bolts like how everyone has been saying, but have no luck. only a little of the positive camber went away, but i'm still getting it. also, my toe on the driver side front wheel is off. its pointing towards the right side. i guess i'll just wait til i get my SPC camber kit next week and get an alignment. thanks for all your help guys!
