If you have never adjusted valves before, you may want to have it done.
You would need a few tools, including a feeler gauge. If the valves are a bit loose, no harm will come from it. But if you improperly adjust them and some get too tight, the valve(s) will burn as a result and you need to get the head redone.

Yup ~~That will help, Also we have solid lifters and not hydralic so the in itself makes them "chatter" quite a bit.
Under most conditions an adjustment will help alot. But you still will hear it more on our cars than on others.
I can`t think of any other car that still uses solid lifters , unless of course dragster`s count !!
Best of luck !

All honda's have solid lifters, many nissan's do, (mine does) toyota's as well.
Solid lifters are actually a bit better for performance, but they are louder.

Anyone know how much dealerships charge to do the valve adjustment? I'd have to go buy a ton of tools and find a garage I could use to do it, so I think I'd rather just have them do it.
