please help! blinker problem

what i wrote didnt show up, anyway my 2002 coupe, which i added a trailer hitch to. it messed up on me. the wire i had going to the blinker shorted out, and it melted my relay, i changed it and still nothing, my headlights work fine, and so do my brake lights. all the fuses are good. please help thanks
