exhaust problem

hey i had a huge problem last night with my exhaust i was driving up my friends drive way and i guess i underestimated the slant, btw first time i ever tried going up this i usuallyu park on the sidewalk. Well anyways I go up and i hear CRACK, my exhaust piping rubbing on the concerete, there was nothing I cud do so I just continued to go and then came back down. Then I hit my gas pedal and the car was soooooooooo loud. Realized I ripped off the pipping from the catalyic converter. This morning the place hooked it back up for no charge, but I noticed that the muffler hangs about 3-4 inches lower, everything else is fine car sounds good again and piping is fine. WHat can I do to raise the muffler up?
