When I put my fipk II air intake in I really got on it and floored my 5 speed to check out the gain, as I was gettin on it up in Rpm's as I shifted 2 times I heard a pop from my engine bay. Well, I sold my fipk II and went back to stock (k&n drop in air filter I have always used) and as I was gettin on it tonight tachin out 3rd gear i had a slight pop and my car ''hung" before it caught for a second, What is this ... Did I tear or split a hose line in my engine bay? this never occured until I really put the fipk II in and got on it heavy. I have gotten on it before and it never did this.

I forgot to add
I removed the ecu chip and reset the battery when switching back fipk II to stock and when I went from stock to fipk II, I couldn't get the damn heat shield in so I had to take the battery out....
Thanks man, the only reason i said it cause i was hearing clicking and i didnt know there was a small screwdriver rollin around in there. Hmmm from an intake install, (aside from moving the battery) we all pretty much did the same thing. Do you redline the hell out of every gear? I dunno, maybe coincidently around the same time you put in the intake, something went wrong in car. Hopefully nothin got into your throttle body or something
