S mode on CVT<<<

So, I gather that if you take off in S mode, its first gear and climbs all the way to redline without shifting? and where is the S mode setting at? My options are P-R-N-D-D3-2
so wheeres S mode?
Because if im in drive and take off, once it hits second gear it bogs back to 4000 rmps the streadily climbs. This s mode eliminates this?

I only see S mode on HX, not EX?

In S(sport) mode, gears will change at higher rpm, about 500 rpm more than normal mode. The rpm will still drop after each gear change. It's not eliminated. There's no S-mode in the Civic.

You can manually do the S mode with P-R-D-D3-2 set-up by 'holding on' to the gears.

Floor it in D3. Once the rpm needle touches the redline, the box will automatically change to D2. Once in D2, pull the stick back to 2. Now you can hold on to 2nd gear pass redline to seven, seven-five. Then push the stick forward to D3. RPM will drop and gear 3 is engaged. Rev the engine to 7.5 when you again push the stick forward to D.
Summary, D3>2>D3>D
