The recall and projectors/HID

when i got my headlight switch recall letter, the first thing that came to mind was swapping the A6 HID TYC to stock before heading to the dealer. i don't think they will look under the hood but i'm so paranoid, even though the retrofit has nothing to do with the malfunctioning switch. i need assurance from you guys with non-stock headlights, especially the select few with the Audi HID retrofits

... Dont really understand your question.

If its, Will the dealer not install the switch because of the retrofit?
I dont know... Depends on the dealership i guess. I havent gotten a letter yet but, If it was me, I would put OEM back on, and bring it to the dealership then after everything is fixed, put the retro back on.

I would think that they would want to look at the lights and wiring aswell?
