howdy ya'll here is my question for you experts,
im trying to paint my calipers and so when i jacked up my car i jacked up the whole front, now im trying to take to bolts off the wheels and the wheel won't stay it just keeps spinning when i try to take off the wheel, even when i put the car in reverse or in first!

Now is my clutch gone or what??????????????

put the car on the ground.....loosen the lug nuts a little then jack the car back up and take them fully off.

clutch is fine... plus if your car is on, and lifted on an airlift, the tires will spin...

I'm not sure but if your car is in first or reverse i can't see how the wheel can turn. I mean if its turning, your crankshaft is also turning which means that your pistons are moving up and down. Anybody correct me if i'm wrong.

The differential will turn, regardless of what gear you are in.

It's NORMAL.

You have to rotate both wheels in the same direction to move the crankshaft. Like tinman said, its the diff.
