Unhappy Hesitation in Acceleration..

My car is running like crap these days...acceleration bogs.and plus I have an automatic. I only have about 29,000 miles on it..but it seems like all of a sudden or over time..acceleration is getting worse and worse. The gas pedal seems more boggy..and it doesn't go as clear.. In addition, I could feel slight hesitations in my car when I push on the gas at a constant rate.. My air filter is good, spark plugs are pretty good, what else could be contributing to this...? I tried cleaning the throttle body with throttle body cleaner..that barely made any difference.. Anyone else feel hesitation in their accelerations..and what other things can be contributing to these things besides what I mentioned above..if anyone could help...it'd be greatly appreciated....

On another note: sometimes when I accelerate..I hear a whistling sound from the engine as well..

Clean your fuel injector? Oil change every 2500-3000 miles? check your trans fluid? tire pressure at recommended PSI?

i am also experiencing this also! i have an atuo to but with a injen cai, i asked one of my friends and he said since i have a cai(and its been raining here in nor cal alot) all that little bits of water that my cai is sucking up is making my motor lose more and more compression each day bits of water get sucked in. iono if its that or the fact that i havent changed my oil since 5000 miles(hehe too lazy and its been raingin here alot!)

I'm having the same problem. Around 30mph, the car just bogs really bad even when the gas is pressed. I have alot of maintenance done already and it didn't seem to help. I have a feeling I may be running too rich. That would explain the spark plugs fouling at 20K miles and the bogging. I'll report back once I get my car tuned with a VAFCII and some other mods. Now it's stock and this problem really sucks. Feels like the car doesn't want to go. And I also have an auto.

try changing your transmission fluid, you need 3 quarts, and you have to get Honda brand fluid...when i changed mine at around 33k miles it did make a difference in acceleration and smoothness in shifting etc...

So....do you guys have any suggestions on why this may be....besides those mentioned above...what is the decarbonizing thing they offer at Honda...isn't that like cleaning the throttle body with throttle body cleaner..?

try changing your fuel filter. that could be one of the causes of your bogged acceleration. and make sure you change your tranny fluid especially if you have a automatic.
