well its been raining here in cali LA and i have a injen coldair. i dont know if waters been going in but everytime i hit a lil puddle my tanabe catback exhuast starts hitting below my car. think it starts shaking or something. does that mean water went in my engine? oh and on the fwy me and my friend with same car and same drop we both lost control of our car. why was that?? CAN ANY1 PLZ TELL ME WHATS GOING ON? PLZ............

Its called thermal shock, basically the water cools one side of the exaust pipe (the bottom of it) causing it to shrink and bend the pipe up like a bow, making it hit the bottom of your car. No big deal.

about losing control...
how low of a drop, what suspension mods do you have and what tires are you running on and how much tread is left on them?

im running on 1.5 front and 1.75 back. stock tires except 1 tire is kumo and my tires arnt warn out its still good.. thats about it with my suspensions.. i bought a bypass valve hope it helps.

why do you have one kumho? the stock tires are terrible in the rain btw. what kind of tires does your friend have?

i have the same prob. i thought it was my c.a.i. but i shortened it 4 winter and still does it. i think the diag. is right too.

if your engine has water in it, it will either stop working, or A LOT of white smoke will be comin out of your exhaust pipe... and it smells like a sauna.

yeah Zzyzx is right i have a greddy evo exhaust and every time it rains i have the same problem but it's no big deal.
