problem with driver sided headlight

problem with driver sided headlight Ok I unhooked the driver side wire harness that connects to the main light bulb in the headlight housing, and connected a H1 projector headlight, then flipped the light switch just to see if the projector worked, and it did not because I later found out the H1 bulb had burned out, so I connected H4 bulb back the way it's supposed to be and the driver side light comes on very dim, so what could it be???, the two corner parking light work fine
