Dealership responce to my tranny problem

I went to the dealership about 2nd popping out of gear. They said they're going to order a synchronizer for 2nd gear. This goes against the TSB repair procedure. I asked if they wanted to look at the TSB, but they said no. Should I point this out to them or just let them try to fix it their way?

Are they repairing it under warrenty? If you dont have to pay, than dont worry about it. If it doesnt fix it, they have to repair it again.

If it works for a little while and my warranty runs out, then it starts messing up again, is it still covered?

You have to ask your dealer how long their work is covered for, it varies from state to state. I got a new trans like 6months ago(under warranty) ,wasnt happy with the replacement(I have an auto and something wasnt catching with the reverse gear). The dealer ended replacing it again and told me even when my warranty ended they would cover the trans for 1 year

Exactly what homer said. My first gear secnro went out a while back. I couldnt shift into first gear at all. I had to drive my car to honda starting in second gear.
