For some reason my mileage has been slowly decreasing. I suspect it has to do with the air filter or spark plugs? Ive been using mobil-1 synthetic and oem filter. I have 27k miles. I was wondering if I should change my transmission fluid. And from the forums i have read i still dont know how to change the fluid for a manual.

Another thing i notice is that while the car is in idle, there is a noticeable clikcing noise come from the engine. (this noise was definately not there when i bought the car) Is this normal? The other day i drove right next to another 5sp ex, and it had the same clicking sound coming out of the engine.

Another Problem is sometimes when I release the clutch from first gear, it sometimes has a hard time to catch and feels like its slipping. Could my clutch be out already??! It happens only once in a while but again I only have only 27k miles.

Oh yeah ANd Another thing anyone notice like gunk around there fuel cap area. My fuel cap is a little brown around the plastic part. I use chevron, which is suppose to be have fuel cleaning agents? Is this normal?

yeah, your clutch might be slipping if it doesnt grab too well. even tho you have only 27k miles on your car you might need a new one, depending on how you drive. as for the gas milage thing, how much mpg are you getting, i guess 25-27 is average on city for my car. try a tune up. as for the clicking you hear, it could be either 1) your valves, or 2) your fuel injectors opening and closing. if it is your valves, you could get your valves adjusted at honda, or do it yourself if you know how. valves tend to need adjustment sooner or later. if its the fuel injectors, then its probably normal, i wouldnt know how to fix that.
