"MAINT REQ"light, cant reset

"MAINT REQ"light, cant reset hey whats up with this, I have a Maintanace Required light on and i usually just reset it by turning my car on and holding down the "milage, trip timer" thing..... But when i do it, it doesnt go away, can anyone please tell me if you know what that is, thank s a lot, 4real.

NEWARK-aveP-NJ I dont know whats the problem might be.Maintanace Required light turned off when i just held down on trip meter before you turn on the car. Light "should" be gone when you do that but i guess not. Try couple more times. if that doesnt work . Call local honda and ask them about it. I am sure they have some solution to turn off that light.

Well this is what you have to do.
1 make sure the car is off.
2 hold the odometer reset **** in(the black long button from your speedo guage if you guys have it).
3 turn the car on.
4 let go of the button after a few seconds.

it is in the book. follow the directions and it should work. If not, take it to Honda and they should fix it under warrenty.
