Axle Problems anyone

Has anyone had any axle problems, I get a horrible grinding when I make right turns or accelerate even moderately hard. Same noise as other axles I've replaced, but not on 7th gen civics. I really want to know if anyone has had any axle problems with there cars, any at all?

Thanks Everyone.

Nope.... none at all. But that does not mean that something did not hit and damage your axle on the road. Did you check if any boots are torn?

Hey! I think I have a problem with mine, actually. My car makes a clicking noise when I accelerate, downshift, or reverse. It doesn't do it immediately, just a few seconds afterwards. I was told by one of my friends it could b my axle, and my warrany's wayyyyyyyy gone... i got 53,000 miles on my 2002 (yes, i bought a honda 'cause i commute for work) so yea... i think i'm screwed..

No it's not torn CV boots, it's the axle. I know what the problem is I was just courious if anyone else had this particlar problem. I wanted to see if there was a pattern with this model of civic or just my car. This is the second time I've brought it in for warrenty work and they refused to fix it the first time so I'm making them fix it this time. I really wish they would just give me a new axle and I'd do it myself but of course honda won't let me do that.

But it looks like no one else has had this problem and thats exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks Again
