i'm sitting here, surfing the web on there computer (thank god it has high speed). i'm getting a "shim kit" installed on my vic, it has something to do with the front passengers side strut or something. i was getting a really annoying sound from that side of the car whenever i went over bumps and such, almost felt like the strut was blown, but they claim it isn't.
i just thought it would be cool to post a thread while at a honda dealership

okay. hope everything gets fixed.

they fixed plenty of stuff for me, they got rid of the strut problem on passengers side, they cured the rattle in my dash, and they fixed the driver seat from rocking.
pretty happy now

i think u are the first one to post at a honda site from a honda dealer...congrats.

it would have been funny if i was at the dealer, bad mouthing them on a honda forum.
i wish i had my camera though, i know people here are always interested in seeing pics of honda's, i could have taken a bunch with the amount of time i was there for.

Slick ............. Whats a shim kit? I've had a problem like this since new. It's not my struts or springs, they've all been replaced.

Tell us if your car feels better. This could be my vics problem.

my car rides a little better than before, there is less noise out of the dash. i'm not sure exactly what they did, i didn't get any paper work. i was there for 2 hours so they gave me the option of waiting 15 minute for the paper work, or letting me go and sending the paper work in the mail, i chose the latter.
are you getting noise in the dash when going over bumps? it might be the same thing as me. maybe i'll go to the dealer on monday and see if i can pickup the paper work, try and get some answers for you.

i think the fix was to install some tape cuz part of the suspension was rubbing on something.....lol
