hey ..my stock headlights have been blacked out for a while and one day i looked at my headlights close up and the plastic outer covering is cracking, on the passenger side there is a very large spidery crack along the seam, and on the drivers side there are cracks all over (not on the seam though). im wondering if my warranty is void or should i still try to get new outer plastic for the headlights. anyone else had this happen to them?? im thinking it happened mebbe cuz i stuck the headlights together wrong? and mebbe the bulb is too close and the heat is cracking it. . .thanks.

yeah, this happened to my friend's headlights. he put on vynal (sp) eyb brows and the headlights got too hot and they had really small cracks under the vynal.
i doubt that the dealership will help you out on this. you voided your warranty on them once you opened up the headlights.
