hesitating

When i'm accelerating in third gear, when get to about 60, sometimes it feels like it is hesitating for a fraction of a sec. and no, i still have plenty of rpm's till i redline, so thats not it. anyone else experience this?

Third gear seems to suck for me. All the power is lost when i get into third.

It may feel that way b/c the torque is decreasing... I'm assuming above 4000 RPMs?
