Brake Squealing.. another question too..

Ok.. i searched, but to no avail (unless i was being extremely lazy..)..

i have carbon metallic brake pads on my civic with stock rotors and calipers and whatnot... lately, i've been hearing a squealing noise coming from my brakes. so, i checked them out, like you do in situations like that, and i still had a lot of the pad left. i cleaned them out using brake cleaner, and that solved it for a day or so... now they squeal when i brake (at low speeds, like stopping at a sign or a light).. anyone have any clue whas goin on?

ok.. second question.. didnt search on this one cuz i'm lazy... so sue me...
here goes... sometimes when i'm driving, and my revs go up and/or down, i hear this vibrating noise coming from either under my dash or somewhere in my engine.. its really annoying.. me and my friend popped my hood earlier today and revved it up to see if there was anything that was vibrating and whatnot... and we couldnt figure it out... any help on that?

i dont know about the vibration, but as for the pads... did you change the brake pads? if you did then you shoulda probably brought ceramic pads. ceramic pads are a little softer, where as semi-metalic is a little rougher. change the pads to ceramic.

The squeeling noise it caused from vibration, first thing get the rotors turned, then make sure all the caliper clips and pads plates/shims have been re-installed correctly. I know a lot of people that throw the pad plate/shim away because they see no use for it, but they are there to reduce vibration which reduces noise. Also use "disc brake quiet" spray on the back of the pads, that also reduces vibration a lot.
