HELP! Condensation in Cleared Headlights!

Everyone,

I need help. My brother cleared his headlights sometime ago, and now there is condensation building up under the headlight. Is this bad? If it is, how do I go about fixing it besides buying another set of headlights? Is there anyway possible that I can buy the black glue that holds the headlights together? Any useful information will be appreciated. Thanks.

Okay yes you can buy the silicone (black or clear) at like a pep boys. Also to fix it you might have to take the lights off and reseal the whole light again as tight as possible. Mine had condensation in them to but i figured the heat would dry it up and it did and now i only get condensation when i wash my car!

by the way it's nothing that's gonna cause you to wreck or anything so i don't think it's really bad!!

condensation makes your bulbs' life much shorter. you'll want to clean up the mess and reseal.

It depends on the environment. I cleared mine in Reno where it's dry and they never fogged. Then I moved to Illinois (humid) and they fog every day.

Resealing them won't help at all. The moisture will just get in through the bulb sockets anyway. My bulbs are still fine after a year. Just turn on the lights and the fog evaporates.
