problem...

I have a 02 DX and just recently swapped clusters for an LX and everything worked fine for a day or so. Now my main. req. light is on. I figured I would take the car to the dealership but first I'll put the old cluster back in (so they won't give me any B.S. about the gauges). So when I put the old cluster back in, the light didn't come onat all. Has anyone experienced this besides me? What should I do?

4bangin is an unknown quantity at this point
how many miles are on the LX cluster? it may just be a check up because of the milage on the LX cluster, which your cluster hasnt reached that milage yet. just turn the car to the "ON" position while holding in the button, it will blink a few times then shut off.

It has like 22k miles on it. My car has like 40k. I got one with lower miles on it because I read that the miles can be recalibrated on them. I also tried the turn car on hold button trick but it doesn't work.

There's a DIY on the light. I think the lights need to be on as well. It's also in the manual.
