Regarding the 01 Stalling Issues

I have been working on Dubs for the last 2 yesrs now and have a great under standing of cars in general but my buddies 2001 civic is confusing to me. I have been up and down your website regarding the odd stalling out problems caused by the Idle stabilization bypass. I just want to throw out a couple of other symptoms that his has that made me think that it may have to do with the fuel system.

1 his car only does this when below 1/2 tank of gas.
2 It has happened while at highway speeds and while under acceleration in a parking lot.
3 When the car has died in motion, it cannot be bumpstarted.
4 Car has also been extremely sluggish under acceleration
5 Lastly after any such event the check engine light comes on for a time

My first thought was a clogged fuel filter but that is in the tank and supposedly a "lifetime" filter. Additionally the problem is always remedied by a restrart although the check engine light may stay on for a time after the initial stallout.

Are these further symptoms of the isa problem or do I have another/several problems to deal with.

Did you check the stalling sticky thread at top of this forum? There's a TSB on it now.
