That's gonna cost you. Glass may be a few hundred, but install may cost more cause everything needs to come out.

did you see the truck from which the rock came from? you can sometimes get them to pay for it, as they are liable for hauling an unsecure load.

Not necessarily. Some trucks on the back, say Stay XXXft away from back, or something. I worked for a construction company, and we had that on our trucks, and other companies have that too.

Hey, the glass comes out real easy. remove the plastic trim on each side, 1 or 2 screws, then there are 4 10mm bolts with some shims that hold in the glass. Takes 5 minutes. I actually took mine out just to clean everything and re-shim it to fit flush. Just buy the glass. Easy as pie.

Yep, the honda parts catalog show it at $479 for the GLASS!

I'd look for a used one.

One big mudball/rock fell off a truck, and I saw it roll off my car. I didn't realize it made a baseball sized dent until I got out of my car ... the truck had driven away. . . losers!!
I hate those big trucks too! How come they don't freaking secure their ish!?!

cost too much too.

this is why i dont stay behind trucks with loose items.. too dangerous.

or I stay far far away...

good luck on finding the glass at good price...

personally I'd do it myself too. the other guy made it sound really easy...

claim insurance maybe? My friend's BMW's moonroof shattered too and his warranty covered the replacement (and repainting of where the glass chips scratched the car)

Hey Vision,

If you can get the glass but don't know how to put it in, PM me. I'll give you a hand with it.
