Just a few hours ago, while parked in front of the 7-11, I discovered that my left (driver) side headlight wasn't working when I had my lights fully turned on. As I turned the **** one step towards me (into parking light position), the left light turned on along with the right light. I continued to turn the know to the off position, and both the left and right lights were on as normal. I have, by the way, DRL (daytime running lights) here in Canada.

This was a little weird for me, because the DRL lights operate from the same HB2 (H4) light bulb. I decided to see what happens to my left side headlight when used as high beems. As it turns out, it worked just fine.

So what I have is:

Light - Left - Right

DRL - Yes - Yes
Parking - Yes - Yes
Running - No - Yes
High - Yes - Yes

So what is wrong with this picture? I've checked the fuse (#15, under the hood) for the driver side headlights and everything looked fine.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like a faulty contact somewhere in the wiring guts... probably nothing you can do yourself. Should be an easy fix at the dealer.
