Scuff marks fixed with permanent marker!??

I had these scuff marks from when i was backing out of the garage...yea..you can guess the rest..Well i turned to soon and the front left of the car was scraping the garage.

I had these UGLY scuff marks...
I was washing/waxing my car today and thought the wax could get out some of the scuff marks...well that did not work. So I saw a marker on the workbench and decided to minimize the whiteness and color it in with a black permanent marker (ive got NBP). I thought about putting clear over the marker, but to my surprise after i had colored it in and put wax and rub'd it in the scuff mark was gone!! Its like the marker ate away some of the clear and the wax smoothed everything out. Its like there was no scuff mark at all! I wish i had a digicam I would have loved to show you guys. But this is just a heads up for anyone thats got a suff mark on the NBP civic.

BlackIce is an unknown quantity at this point
I'll have to give this a shot, cause I got scuffs as well on my front. Following a big a$$ truck that dropped a big piece of mud, that had rock in it, smashed into the front bumper = scuffed up now. If this doesnt work, not worried, I have an OEM bumper and plan on replacing it with a different aerodynamic front some day. Just curious if you are posting this because you have marker marks on your car now and want someone else to do it so you are not the only one. ha, most likely not though. Will give it a shot, since I have a NBP car.
