Clutch Making noises???
Can somebody tell me why my clutch is making some squeeking nosies? when i step down on the clutch it sounds like the jopints aren't lubed or something.... can somebodyu tell me if that is a common issue on the 7thgen civic?
I second this motion. Dude, I've had the same damn problem since my car has had about 400 miles on it!!! I've taken back to the dealer three times and it started to do it again. The first time I went back, they "oiled the slave cylinder". The second time I went they replaced a "clip". They failed to mention what the clip was. It was quiet for awhile. Then I started again and I brought it back and they suposedly took the whole clutch apart and oil and lubed it. Low and behold, it's doing it again. If anyone can help us, that would be great!!!!
This topic has been covered a lot in this forum ... here's just one of the threads:

Search and you'll find more. And yes, it's a common issue on lots of Hondas, not just ours.
TSB = technical service bulletin
Check the sticky at the top for a complete list of TSBs for our cars. Basically, if you show a dealer a TSB for our cars, they cannot refuse to do the service.
