13.8 Gallons Of Gas!!!
**UPDATE** ok so 2 days ago my car was on the empty line... so i decide to filler-up... b4 i did i checked the trip odometer to see how many miles i put on the tank... it read 335 miles... i NEVER went over 300 miles on a full tank... so i did the math and i still average 24-25mpg... so i actually had 14+ gallons of gas in my car at one time... when i filled up, it filled just like the usual, 10-11 gallons... that 14+ gallon tank lasted me almost 2 weeks... wierd stuff u guys!!!

If you drove 335 miles and you re-filled with 10 gallons, then you would of averaged 33.5 mpg. 335/10 = 33.5
I think you should try a different gas station. Sounds like their pumps arent calibrated correctly and are ripping people off. I seriously doubt that you have a larger tank.

damn I didnt realize how many of you actually worry about your gas mileage, I could care less. The only time I would worry would be if I had to fill up like twice a day on little driving or something.

Maybe I even have an issue...13.2 gallons or not, I drove 20 miles with the gas light on, the needle was in below the red, and it only took 10.5 gallons to fill. I NEVER have to put more than 9.5 gallons in on a regular fill up, and I still do about 300 miles. Should I have honda check my gas gauge? -BTW, I have an 02 EX 5-spd

Try using a different gas station for the next couple months, and divide the gallon amount into the total miles on your last fill up. After you've done this for around 6 fill ups add up all the milage and gas used and divide the totals to get a over all MPG average.
the gas station DIDN'T rip me off...i got about 335miles to that tank... when i should have gotten 250-260miles on a regular 11.x gallon fill-up... i understand that our tanks cant hold more than say about 13gallons... but when it filled up to 13.815 PLUS the gas that was still left in the tank, nothing leaked out... i dont know how it happened... alll i know it hasnt happened yet again....

If its only happened once is it possible you were reading the amount of dollars on the pump instead of the gallon amount? Don't laugh because I've done this, and I've seen it happen many times when I worked at a gas station.

There is a over flow tank on most radiators on cars.

I had a similar problem a few months ago. I went to a Chevron and filled up my tank. I like to keep track of the amount of money I spend on gas a month so i always get receipts. About 5 days later I went to a Texaco to fill up and the gas was the same price as the Chevron I went to earlier that week. According to the Texaco, I put more gas in my car there than I did at the Chevron, but I paid more at the Chevron.
