Need Help Fast !!!!!! Please........
okay so im driving and all of a sudden i hear this load banging noise everytime i
go over 40 miles an hour. so i drop the car off friday to honda and they finally called me
back today about it. they are still checking but the guy who checked in the car says he thinks
i may have thrown a rod ! and may not be covered under my warrenty cause of aftermarket parts. so here is my delema well question .. the only performance parts i have on my car is an intake ? can the intake cause this problem or am i being taken for a ride ? and can this really void the warrenty ?

Unless you sucked something into the engine (like water) then its doubtful they can blame the intake. Water is provable... since it doesn't mix with oil and would still be in the engine. But other than that, I can't think of any other problem the intake can cause, unless it's somehow broken and a piece of it went in.
Unless your dealer can prove to you that your aftermarkets did in fact caused the damage. You have your rights to argue with them that your intake has nothing to do with the rod being damaged.
