idle problem..

idle problem..

when i rev my car the RPM goes down diffrent now..i takes too long to go down..what do you think cause this and whats wrong? thanks!

i have a v-afc i/h/e, thats just about it? how about you prawdigy? first i thought it was that v-afc i set all the settings to 0..then i tested it its still the same..damn.

AEM cold air intake, custom 4-2-1 header, tanabe muffler. do you think it has somethin to do with my i/h/e? but for a while it was workin great, it just happend sometime this week..

you could try resetting the computer, but i suspect that your v-afc is causing the problem.

iv tried it..i took out one of the terminals of the battery of for a few minutes..still the same..damn..

it isn't the v-afc, b/c i have the same problem and i don thave that.... i do have the Tanabe Racing Medallion cat-back exhaust... if that's wut you have... that might be wut's causing the problem.

but for a while it was workin great..just a few day ago it did..and i have the muffler for 4 months. well anyway..ussually how do you fix this problem?

I actually had the same problem, still do actually. It is the O2 sensor on my car. Sometimes when I hall a$$ then slow down and sit at a light, my car will run ruff and the RPM takes a while to go down then almost grounds out then the car picks up the RPM's. Weird but have had to replace the O2 twice now.

Resetting the ECU should take care of the problem. The car prolly isnt used to all the new air.
