How many miles until we should change our FUEL filters?

Hey guys,

Im going to be starting on going through the car checking on the maintance. I was wondering at 26,000 if it would be wise to go ahead and change out the fuel filter? Im going to change out the Pollen filters as its just something to get out of the way. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

This is one maintenance item they forgot to put in our manuals. But I think 26,000 miles is too early. Maybe 50-60,000 miles would be more reasonable.

Oh, and apparently, it's kinda tough to get at the fuel filter, so you may not want to change it too often. Someone here said that you can only get at it by taking out the rear seat, which exposes the fuel tank.

I agree , "it`s to early" , and the fuel system is presurized (sp?) and should be done only if you know how to do it.
It could get nasty !
