Rear Suspension Squeaks?
Hey everyone, today I was removing my rear deck and when I was in the back seat taking everything apart, when I bounced up and down for no reason at all, my rear suspension started squeaking. I don't know if was both sides or just one, but either way I don't know if that is normal. Can you all please help me clear this up? Thanks!
I get a squeak too...if you listen very closely when driving about 10mph...very slowly...you can hear it squeaking...sounds like an old rocking chair. Also when I do the bouncing thing it squeaks really bad. I did take it if for this and of coarse it didn't squeak when it was at Honda so they said nothing is wrong. Does anyone know what this is??? It isn't normal is it? BTW...my car is 100% stock.

what djaaaronk said is exactly what I experience in my car. At low speeds my suspension squeaks like crazy, when I go up my driveway, and just bouncing up and down in the back seat. At high speeds though, you don't hear anything. Unfortunately I have new rims so my warranty on my suspension is void. Id really appreciate it if someone could tell me what this is caused by.
I had the same problem at low speeds, like pulling into or out of a parking lot incline, turns out it wasnt the suspension, but the rear deck had becoem loose somehow, they say its a common problem, especialyl after putting the rear seat down and having stuff on top of it while its down. They replaced and tightened the bolts and clips on the shelf and i never heard the noise again.
