when do u get your oil changed?

when do u get your oil changed?

how many miles should i let my car go before i get my oil changed. im sure its been debated here. people have told me 3000 miles, others 5000 but never over. whens the best time?

Generally a little over 3,000 miles. About 3,500 miles, but never the 4,000 mark.

Well this has been covered many many times, but the 3,000 mile rule is just a brainwash so oil companies sell more.

7500 for mostly highway / 5000 for city-highway mixed

I do it every 5000..... oil looks pretty clean at 3,000 so its pointless. I don't really care about the deposits either...
