Thumbs down Fuse keeps blowing.

Alright, the turn signal issue is fixed by replacing the fuse but I've replaced the fuse TWICE. It will work and then it'll eventually blow again, and I hate driving at night in the city traffic without them. Does anyone know why the hell the fuse keeps blowing? I don't want to put another fuse in there just so it will blow again.

check the light socket it could be grounding and also check for pinched wires.

Stock. The bulbs appear to be fine because regardless if the fuse is blown or not, the hazzards operate normally.

Still blows although I found the wires to the right signal bulb under stress.

Bleh - will check the socket tomorrow.

bad idea. they are set to where the fuse will burn first then the wires.if you increase to a higher amp fuse rating your taking a chance that something will burn first other than that fuse.i suggest that you trace the wires or try with the original bulbs.if it happens again there is something wrong.

do they blow when you turn them on right away or after couple of uses.what you can try do is remove all the bulbs then turn on your signals.see if it blows,if not do your left side front then move to your back.if nothing happens (fuse not blown yet) try the right side and do the same.chances are one will blow the fuse when you put in that bulb.now if you find which side is causing it to blow you'll have to trace that line and find the problem.

Another question to ask yourself.....

Do you have any other mods in your car tapping off that line and you didn't know you were? This could cause a problem because your trying to pull to much current and the fuse can't handle it.
