Have a muffler shop lower your muffler.... (or bend the hangers)
You need at least 0.75" clearance all around.

I just had my car in today to have the exhaust adjusted so it was not sitting on my sway bar- they bent it more at where the bend is behind the wheel and I noticed too that my bumper was starting to melt. My exhaust sticks out more but it is not queer looking or anything

I had the same problem. Hes a easy and free way to fix it. Take the bumper off, get a saws all(sp?), and cut the lower part of your bumper out. Becareful not to cut the sections that clip on to the frame. That fixed it for me.
