Maintenance @ Other Honda Dealerships?

Hey everyone, soon I will in Sbe a resident an Marcos, TX since im going to college in this city. There is one honda dealership there, which im happy about I guess. I have an extended warranty on my civic right now and I just wanted to make sure that I could get work done at any other honda dealership besides the one that I bought it from? I hear about 2001 civics having tranny problems and I don't want to be in a cenario where I can't get work done on my car that doesn't apply to my extended warranty. Thanks!

Ah, good ol SWT

Your extended warranty should be good at any Honda dealer in the US... Is it a HondaCare warranty? If not, a lot of those 3rd party warranties are good at any ASE repair shop, not just a dealer.

Yeah you can go to any Honda dealership for warranty work. There's a few dealerships just north of you in Austin too (Happy Honda, First Texas Honda).
