2012 Sedan Starting Issues

My 4 door 2012 started having random starting issues (slow crank or no crank) but would eventually start. It is now more often and almost every start. Replaced battery, starter, alternator but problem unresolved. Battery posts clean and no issues once car starts. Any ideas?

Sounds like you have a draw somewhere. How frequently are you checking battery voltage? How long does the car sit between driving?

Thanks for chiming in- checking voltage- never have but the things been to the mechanic 3 times in a month. First time was new battery, 2nd was “we can’t find anything” and third was the new alternator/starter. The + post needed a cleaning and that actually made a difference. How much buildup could there be in a month? Anyway, it’s random how long it sits- a couple hours, overnight. How do I test “draw?”

Voltmeter. Resting voltage should be around 12V. In your situation, anything below 11V is indicative of either a bad battery or a parasitic draw somewhere.
