Re: Would this battery fit my Civic

Why do you want that battery? It's small and light for vehicles where weight is a major factor. It won't hold up to the abuse of daily driving. With 170 CCA, it probably won't even start a car if it's cold out.

Physically, it's quite a bit smaller than a stock battery. It would fit inside the battery tray but would be very loose. Odyssey themselves say there are none for the 9th gen Civic.

Well, I was thinking about this one too. I think I would have to modify this one. I was looking online I need something for accessories too. The ones I want they don't fit. https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/ODYO...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

That one is physically bigger than the stock battery in your Civic. I would recommend buying a standard battery from a parts store.

Such as? Unless you're basically living out of the car and running household appliances on it, there shouldn't be an issue.

Either way, I suspect you'd need to upgrade your alternator before your battery.

Battery, laptops, & camera gear, & portable chargers. I do a lot of car & car meet filming. Also installing an upgraded audio system in a few weeks as well. Yea, I have that on the way too.

I think a stock battery would be fine as long as you upgrade the alternator as suggested.

Ahh ok. I asked because people said it's best to do that if you are doing a big audio system upgrade then factory & pulse all the stuff I charge. My batteries don't really last as long. Thank ya'll for the help too. Still learning lol.
