Blower fan

I have a 2015 civic. The resistor for the blower fan went out. I replaces ot and it worked for a day. The fan motor and control panel have been tested good. I re placed the resistor again and it worked for a few hours. What would make the resistor keep going bad?

Re: Blower fan

Does all fan feeds of resistor fail? And could be faulty fan out of box causing too big of a draw. Or loose female connectors so their isn’t proper contact tension. I’ve seen them melt before.
