continuously-running radiator fans killed battery. Solution?

My wife found her 2007 Civic LX dead this morning. On lifting the hood, I saw that both fans were running -- the passenger side faster than the driver side. I disconnected the electrical connection above the passenger side fan, and both fans stopped.
QUESTION: Once I boost the battery (now at 5.6 V), is this a simple fix, or will it likely require some diagnostics to determine the real cause?

See if the fan relay is sticking. Or do a parasitic draw test on all the circuits

OK. Not sure how to do either.
But I'll find info on the relay location first and check that out .
Thanks
