My windshield wipers only works on medium speed and high. When i turn off my wipers they turn off when they want to like 5mins and plus they don't go back to their normal position even when i quick spray wiper fluid. I think i need new motor

Does sound like a bad wiper motor. Below is a link to the testing procedure for the wiper motor.

Or a bad wiper switch/stalk on the steering column.

Re: 06 Civic EX 1.8L windshield wipers.

The wipers not stopping and returning to the home position points to a bad wiper motor or wiring running to it. Inside the motor there is basically a sensor that tells the motor where the down position is. When you turn off the wipers the motor will keep running until it reaches the down position. If the sensor doesn't know where down is the wipers will keep running. There were steps to test this in the link I sent previously.

When i turn off the car and back on they move back to home position by itself without turning it back on

Below is the procedure to test the wiper switch. You have to go through this and the motor test to figure out what's wrong.

Re: 06 Civic EX 1.8L windshield wipers.

I have changed the time thing on the stock all the way up and inlet mode is working now but still not moving slower I don’t I have the time right now to test it. And it’s starting to return back to home position. So what now still test it?. And looks like previous had opened up the top cover on steering wheel column.
